Dear Auntie Moniek,
It's been a long time since I wrote you a note. Lucy regularly tells me I have to write, but I haven't been able to. Now, during my vacation I have time to write and I can give more information about myself.
This holiday is not as relaxing as my previous holiday. At school they give extra lessons on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm. After that I'm going to help my mother sell fruit. I will carry this in a basket on my head. The money we earn is for the household. I also help my grandmother every Saturday at the farm. You know it's a busy holiday for me.
Meanwhile, I'm going to Senior High's 2nd year. At school we have other tasks besides the lessons, such as redesigning and cleaning the classroom and weeding the yard.
Auntie, I am very happy with the support you give me, and I hope it will stay that way. It is very difficult for my parents to support me. Sometimes I feel very sad when they can't give me food and basic needs. Auntie, I am not telling you this, so you have to give me everything. I'm only telling it so you have a real picture of the life I'm living.
